The Lindquist Life: Friday Favorites

The jacket I talked about here came in the mail and, to be honest, didn't fit the way I would have liked. It gave me way bigger shoulders than I expected and made me look a lot bigger than I am.

Just finished reading this book and it was amazing! It is coming out as a movie on April 10th and I definitely want to see it. I love seeing movie versions after I read the books! If you like a good romance novel (without being X-Rated) and love Nicholas Sparks this book is a must read!

I also have to share this video I saw on Good Morning America yesterday morning. This little boy, named Seth, was born with severe combined immunodeficiency (or bubble boy disease) and has spent most of his life in a sterile, isolated environment. He is currently waiting on a bone marrow transplant from his father. To raise awareness and gain support for Seth his parents recorded this video of him asking everyone to wear yellow for Seth on March 27th, 2015. I fully plan on participating to show this little guy my support. If you want to join in just wear yellow on March 27th and post to your social medias accounts #wearyellowforseth.

And I had to also share this one. An Australian couple, Kate and David Ogg, gave birth to premature twins, Jamie & Emily, in 2010. After delivery, the doctors told the Ogg's that only Emily had survived. Their son miraculously came back to life when his parents cuddled him. I bawled like a baby watching this. What a true testament to God and the power of love.
