Mom 2 Mom: Car Organization

It's no secret, I love an organized space. I function better and I'm happier when everything has its place, including our car. Now don't get me wrong, the car isn't always this neat and tidy, but this is the goal most days. Let me share with you how I created an organized space in our car.

In one bin in our backseat, I have a things we are always needing when we're out somewhere; diapers, wipes, snacks, and bags to put trash/dirty diapers in. I also put an extra sippy cup in there just in case we need one. This bin is easy to access so when I need something quickly I can just reach down and grab it. We now always have snacks for those times your kid is hungry and you forgot to put something in your bag or they already ate everything you brought with you.

This is an empty tissue box that I re-purposed to hold plastic bags for dirty diapers, trash, etc.

Above this bin is another bin at Riley's feet that holds a whole bunch of books and toys for her to play with in the car. We have toys that are designated just for the car and so I always have something for her to play with.

On the other side of that bin is a small trash can to keep the clutter/mess to a minimum.

In the trunk I have another bin to hold our shopping cart cover, extra hats/blackets, etc. The bag has our beach toys. I also keep an umbrella stroller in our car all the time in the chance that we need it when we're out and hadn't plan to bring a stroller.

And that's it! Nothing too complicated! It takes 5 minutes to do and now our car is organized. I bought all of the bins at Dollar Tree, so the whole thing cost $5. Easy!

Have a wonderful day! See you all back here tomorrow!
