Friday Favorites

Linking up for another edition of Friday Favorites.

Here are some things I'm loving this week!
The American Idol finale was on Wednesday. On Tuesday, they narrowed the 3 down to 2 and it was between Nick Fradiani and Clark Beckham. This was a hard one for me. I really love both of them but I really just love Clark. I have been rooting for him since auditions. He just has the most amazing talent. He performed the song that will be his first single on Tuesday and I literally had tears in my eyes. I usually decide my favorite based on who's album I would buy and I would DEFINITELY buy his. I am really happy for Nick. I think he's great!
Check out Clark's performance!

My new favorite Summer recipe. If you missed my post about it earlier this week, you can find it HERE. It is literally the easiest recipe. Perfect for busy schedules and those days you'd rather be outside enjoying the weather than inside cooking dinner. You throw it in a crock pot in the morning and it's ready when you get home.

Getting rid of stuff!

This is my pile of stuff to get rid of so far.

I have been on kick lately to go through every room in our house and de-clutter and figure out which stuff to sell/donate/toss. It feels so good to create some extra space and get organized!

I have been getting some great tips from other bloggers on how to do this the most efficient and effective way. See what I've been pinning HERE.

Mother's Day was definitely a favorite this week for me. I am so grateful to God every day for making me this little girl's mom. I am also so grateful for a loving husband who supports me in my role as mom.

Life is so wonderful with these two.

This dad haha! How funny is this?

His wife's expression is priceless! Most people would've ducked to shield the baby haha! Props for catching it though!

Thanks for reading!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  1. That foul ball video is hilarious. I love the guy's expression behind him. Glad he caught the ball!
