South Carolina

We've had a busy few weeks with a trip to South Carolina to visit Mike's family. It all started on Good Friday, when we headed up to my parent's house for the night so that they could drive us to the airport in the morning (to avoid parking our car for 10 days, they graciously offered to help).

First some pancakes with mom in her booster seat. She has been begging us to do this so we obliged & she did so well!

Car ride up to MA.

Walking with Nana.

A chair just her size! My parents have had this chair since last summer and now she's old enough to use it.

First meal down in South Carolina.

Annual Easter Brunch at the clubhouse.

We also hit up two playgrounds on our trip. The weather was beautiful so we tried to find every excuse to be outside.

What a ham.

Front porch sittin' & helping Grandma with Toby.

Exploring the outdoors (aka Grandma & Grandpa's sprinklers).

Playing with Toby. These two are best buds!

Playing with her baby & enjoying Grandpa & Toby.

We also went to Charleston one day on our trip. I gotta tell ya, it was amazing! The city was so beautiful & the weather was perfect. I could totally live in Charleston. If you haven't visited I highly suggest going.

I wish these bottom pictures weren't so blurry but the view was spectacular from the pier.

We also went to Huntington State Park for a beach day while we visited. It was another beautiful weather day (we had a lot of those on our trip!) and Riley loved exploring the beach.

We also went to the pool for a pool day with Grandma while the guys were golfing. We played in the water & had some lunch. It was a really great spot on a beautiful day.

We also took advantage of another warm day & had Riley's first sprinkler experience. The pictures say it all! She loved it! I really remember doing this exact thing as a kid & it is so wonderful watching my daughter experience these things too.

On the rare few days it wasn't as nice we watched some TV with Grandpa & played with toys.

We also ate dinner at the pub one night.

We also met our new niece for the first time & spent some quality time with Mike's brother & sister-in-law.

We had to most incredible trip! It was so nice to spend quality time with our family. I feel so blessed to have married into such a loving family.

See you all tomorrow!
