Baked Broccoli


Today, I wanted to share a super simple recipe for you and your family, baked broccoli. It takes about 20 minutes between prep & cooking and you have a healthy, delicious snack/side for you and your family. 

Ingredients:
-2 heads of broccoli, cut into florets & then cut in half
-3 tbsp olive oil
-5 cloves of garlic, minced
-1 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp pepper
-1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degree F
2. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli with olive oil, salt, black pepper & garlic.



3. Spread the broccoli on a rimmed baking sheet, in a single layer.



4. Bake broccoli until tender enough to stick a fork in it & broccoli is browning at the edges (about 15 minutes). Make sure to turn once halfway through baking. I, personally, like mine crispier so I bake mine for roughly 20 minutes.
5. After baking, squeeze lemon juice liberally over the broccoli before serving.

And that's it! Simple!
