Things have slowed down a little since getting back from visiting Mike's family in South Carolina, but we still had some pretty packed days here at home for the second half of Mike's Spring break (2 1/2 weeks off is pretty awesome!). Here's what we've been up to lately.
The Best Man in our wedding came into town for a visit. We haven't seen him since we got married (he lives in Seattle), so it was so great to see him and have Riley meet her "Uncle" Moz (his last name is Moser, so we call him Moz).
Riley is now starting to get to an age where she is warming up to people besides me and Mike. By the third day, she was all about hanging out with her Uncle Moz. He was so sweet to her.
She is waving to him in this picture.
My parents came into to town one day so they could babysit and we could go out with Moz on night. It was a fairly warm day and we decided to take a walk down to the beach. My mom said the water was freezing, but Ry didn't care. She loved putting her feet in. My mom could only stand to cold for a few minutes and was done. I don't blame her! haha.
We're starting to have some nicer weather days, so we have been taking full advantage and getting outside a bit.
We also went over to Hammonasset State Park to walk the walking trails and spend some time by the ocean.
Riley's hair is just getting long enough to put in pigtails, so we've been trying those out this week. The cuteness!
Riley has been climbing on everything too. Even though she is only 14 months, she is very tall so she can pull herself up onto things now. Let the next stage of baby proofing begin!
We also had a play date at one of the local beaches with our mommy friends. It was a gorgeous day. Sunny with a slight breeze. It was so relaxing and nice to spend some time playing outside and spending time with friends.
So that's our life lately! See you all back here tomorrow for Friday Favorites!
