March has been filled with lots of playing at home, outings with friends & time at the library. March has been pretty cold still so we are trying to find fun things to do indoors to help us get to some warmer weather and we can get outside and play!
We went to a local indoor kids gym with friends.
We went to the Bounce Center again (we love it there!).
Check out girlfriend's hair! Haha
We've been going to the library a lot. They have some really great baby/toddler programs that Ry just loves. It's all about music, movement, books, etc. It's great! Ry loves taking the see through fabric (see above) and putting it on her head and walking around. She just thinks it's the funniest thing!
We've spent some time playing at home.
This is Riley's "smile" face. When we brush her teeth, she doesn't let us get to her teeth very easily so we've started saying "smile!" and we make a face similar to the one she's making in this picture. Now whenever we say "Smile!" this is what she does! haha
Riley has loved playing with her baby doll lately. Check out the top right picture of her "hugging" her baby! ha!. When she wakes up in the morning it is the first thing she wants.
We also made a trip up to my parent's house last weekend. Riley has been really slow to warm up to my sister but on this trip they read together. Ry even gave my sister a hug and kiss. She did the same to my mom & let my niece hold her. We also ordered her something for the first time when out to eat. Usually, we just bring her some food, but this time we actually ordered her something! It was a big weekend!
There was one day where it was "warm" enough to take a walk down to the water.
We celebrated St. Patty's Day.
We played with some homemade St. Patty's themed playdough (tutorial here).
We had some fun with our boarding school friends. The girls insisted on going in the pack n' play we have in the living room so I put all the ball pit balls in there and put the kiddie pool on top so they had a fort. They loved it and spent most of their play date in there.
Ry decided to be a hipster baby.
We've been watching a lot of March Madness & Pinterest-ing.
We bought Ry some sandals for Spring & whenever I put them on her she doesn't want to take them off. #intoshoesalready #dadsintrouble
Saturday morning she insisted on walking around in her diaper and sandals. She just kept walking around the upstairs. It kept her entertained for a solid half hour.
I almost caught a moment when Ry gave her dad a kiss! Bummed that it was too quick for me to catch. The bottom right one is still pretty cute thought! She loves her daddy!
We also had some family outings..
and watched puppies on Good Morning America.
Life has been simply and filled with fun days at home and with friends & family. Mike's brother & sister-in-law had their baby last week too! A little girl! We can't wait to meet her in a few weeks!
Hope you have a wonderful day!
