April Goals

Tomorrow is April 1st (when did that happen?) and I hoping that we are in for some sunny, warm Spring days ahead.

Today, I am sharing my April goals with you all, but first let's see how March went.

1. Organize Pinterest Boards.
Yes. I spent a whole afternoon the Sunday after writing my March goals organizing. All those type-A personalities out there will understand how amazing it felt!
2. Get in plan in place for Riley's meals & prep food each week.
Yes. When I write out my grocery list each week, I include a section where I plan Ry's meals & snacks for each day. Granted, she's a 1 year old and has a mind of her own. One day she likes something, the next she won't touch it, so I have a few back-ups for those days when she won't eat what I give her. (I pick my battles)
3. Schedule a hair appointment.
Yes.

Before & After.

4. Go on a date with Mike.
Yes. My parents came down and watched Ry one night for us. We ended up having a big snowstorm, so we had to cancel our original plans and go out to eat at place down the street from us that we could walk to, but it was still a date, just my husband and I and it was glorious.

5. Get Spring clothes.
Oh, yes! Have you seen any of my recent posts? You'll see I have been shopping. We are pretty stocked up for our vacation next week!

6. Toddler activities with Riley.
We have been doing a ton of things; library, indoor play spaces, playdates, etc. It has been a lot of fun!

I also finished Riley's one year book! Yes! So that will be arriving in the mail soon! I can't wait!

Now onto April goals!

1. Go on a walk 3 times/week.
With the weather getting nicer, I plan on making a conscious effort to take Riley on some walks to get some fresh air. We have a great little neighborhood that brings us right down to the water. It is perfect!
2. Read 3 books.
We are on vacation for 2 weeks in April. I plan on using that time to catch-up on some reading & relax a bit.
3. Do 3 acts of service for others in the community.
Being more generous is something that has been on my heart for some time now. It is very important to me to give to others & to teach my children the same quality. This month, I will find three ways to give back to my community. I encourage you all to join in with me. It doesn't have to be a big ordeal. Simply offering to watch your friend's children one afternoon so she can get some things done, bringing baked good to your local nursing home, etc is important too. I just encourage you to get involved and give back!
4. Drink more water.
This was a February goal too, but I'm adding it again. I NEED to drink more water. I'm hoping this is the month that I stick to it!

What are your April goals?

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
